An elegant, robust hand cannon with a heavy triangular barrel and a remarkably large bore. A curved talon is fixed to the butt of its grip. The silvery barrel block is engraved with delicate feathers.
Slot 1: Honed Talons
Situational: When you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points with a shot from this weapon, or a shot with this weapon exceeds a creature’s AC by 4 or more, you gain 1 stack of Honed Talons, to a maximum of 7 or your Power level, whichever is lower.
You can add a damage bonus of your Power level + your number of Honed Talons stacks to successful shots you take with this weapon.
In addition to normal perk rules, you lose all Honed Talons stacks when you complete at least a brief rest, and when you reload this weapon.
Slot 2: Paracausal Shot
Situational: When you take a shot from this weapon, you may spend all your Honed Talons stacks to improve the shot based on the number of stacks you had, using the chart below. The size of the bonus damage dice are shown as d4s, but they increase in size by one for every Power level you are above 1st.
