Proof Light can bring new life to even the darkest places.
Exquisite Very Rare weapon (hand cannon), requires attunement by a Risen
Damage: 1d10 kinetic
Scope: 10/40/60 (close)
Memory, Weight: 8/1, 6 lb.
Other Properties: Two-Handed
An ornate, flowery hand cannon crafted with advanced Light-forging techniques rather than mundane manufacturing. Its outer white casing of swirling, elongated petals seems to sprout from a grip capped with a bud-shaped pommel. Golden thorns protrude through the casing from the weapon’s slender body.
Intrinsic: Weapon of Hope
Situational: When you take a shot at a Risen, you can choose to heal them for 1d8 energy shield points, instead of making a normal attack.
Perpetual: You may add your Power level to both the damage and healing of this weapon.
Slot 1: Remnants
Situational: You have a maximum number of Remnants equal to 1 + your Power level. When you heal a creature with the Weapon of Hope perk, you may spend any number of Remnants to increase the healing by 1d8 per Remnants spent.
When you kill a creature with a shot from this weapon, you may regain up to 2 spent Remnants. You recover all spent Remnants when you complete at least a short rest.
Slot 2: Blessing of the Sky
Situational: If you spend two or more Remnants on a single shot, both you and the target become Empowered (rank 1). This becomes Empowered (rank 2) if you’re at least 7th level, or Empowered (rank 3) if you’re at least 14th level.
Slot 3: Resonant Virtue
Situational: If there is a Ghost you can see within the effective range of this weapon, and that Ghost has captured their Risen’s Light, you may spend your action + a number of Remnants equal to your Power level and shoot the Ghost with this weapon. Do not make an attack or damage roll. Instead, the Ghost may choose to use its reaction to immediately resurrect its Risen as if the Revive action had just been used on it.
