These are just words. For perks, see below, oh player mine.
Exquisite Legendary weapon (fusion rifle), requires attunement by a Player Character
Damage: 2d8 explosive solar
Scope: 25/40/50 (medium)
Memory, Weight: 10.00 lb. (1000/1)
Other Properties: Finesse, Line Fire, Payload (see perks), Two-Handed, Unwieldy
You might call me a grotesque contraption made of twisted bone and teeth, assembled into the vague shape of a fusion rifle. Make sure your character watches their grip.
Intrinsic: Ahamkara’s Eye
Perpetual: I unleash a giant continuous beam of death. When determining the Payload area of my shot, start at the impact point of the shot, then draw a 20-foot long line extending from there. The direction of this line can change once, though all points along the line must remain within line-of-contact with my wielder.
The impact point, as well as all targets within 5 feet of the line, are within the Payload area.
Slot 1: Unforeseen Repercussions
Perpetual: Creatures who succeed on their Payload saving throw against a shot from me take half damage + 1, rather than only half damage, oh evasive ones.
Situational: Any creature who rolls a natural 1 on their Payload save against my shot takes twice as much damage, because I will it so.
Slot 2: Wish for Death
Perpetual: I gain one additional damage die for each 1 my wielder’s proficiency bonus is above +2.
Situational: If any allies of my wielder are within the Payload area of my shot, but fail their Payload saving throw against my shot, the Payload DC increases by 5 for all enemies of my wielder.
Slot 3: Fall from Grace
Situational: I can be Taken, but only if Oryx somehow comes back to life and does it himself. If I am, my damage die size decreases by one. Furthermore, while Taken, my shots also spawn a number of Taken seekers within the Payload area, the amount being equal to my wielder’s proficiency bonus.
I direct each seeker toward a creature of my choice within 10 feet of the Payload area. Each seeker deals 1d4 Darkness damage to the creature. I can direct the seekers to multiple different creatures, or to the same creature multiple times.
