Situational: While dual-wielding with this weapon, its damage die size increases by one.

Slot 2: Ravenous Beast

Situational: Once per turn, if you deal damage with a shot from this weapon or take damage from a hostile creature, you may gain one stack of Craving. The maximum number of stacks you can have is 10 – your proficiency bonus. If you start your turn with your maximum number of Craving stacks, you may begin the Ravenous Beast condition for the next minute or until you stop wielding this weapon, whichever happens first. During this time, you’re subject to the following effects:

  • Whenever you use your action to take a shot with this weapon, you may make one additional attack as part of it. You can only benefit from this additional attack once on your turn.
  • You cannot deal non-lethal damage.
  • You have a resistance to solar damage.
  • You are immune to being Charmed or Frightened. If you were Charmed or Frightened when you gained the Ravenous Beast condition, you stop being Charmed or Frightened.

Slot 3: Bottomless Appetite

If you kill a hostile creature while benefiting from the Ravenous Beast condition, you may regain 2d6 energy shield points. This becomes 3d6 energy shield points if your proficiency bonus is +5 or higher.
