Vex Mythoclast

…the conclusion this Vex weapon is meant for human use, yet if we accept that premise, then there is no way to escape…

Exquisite Very Rare weapon (fusion rifle), requires attunement by a Risen

Damage: 2d6 solar
Scope: 15/25/30 (medium)
Memory, Weight: 20/1, 10 lb.
Other Properties: Automatic Fire, Energy Weapon, Finesse, shot capacity (5), two-handed

A unique fusion rifle obviously of Vex origin, yet designed for human operation. The streamlined curves of its brazen casing strongly resemble the form of Vex hulls, and its sight’s lens seems almost identical to a Vex eye.

Slot 1: Repetitive Behavior

Situational: Every time you hit a hostile creature with a shot from this weapon while Aiming, you gain a bonus +1 to the attack rolls of shots you take with this weapon for the next minute. This bonus can stack up to a maximum of +3, but is lost if you don’t take a shot with this weapon on your turn.

Slot 2: Timeless Mythoclast

Situational: If you take a shot with this weapon and hit, you can roll a d10 after dealing damage. If the result is equal to or less than your Power Level, the local time around you is distorted, and you can roll damage with this weapon against the target again, as well as another d10. You can continue rolling damage in this way so long as you continue to roll low enough after dealing this weapon’s damage.

Slot 3: Temporal Unlimiter

Situation: If you start your turn with a +3 bonus to attack rolls due to Repetitive Behavior, you may swap to this weapon’s alternate firing mode until the end of your turn. Doing so resets the bonus from Repetitive Behavior to +0 at the end of the turn. While in this alternate firing mode, the weapon gains the following changes:

  • Its damage die size increases by two, it gains the Loading property, and loses the Automatic Fire property.
  • Its extended and maximum scope ranges increase to 120 and 200, respectively.
  • Roll a d8 for Timeless Mythoclast, instead of a d10.
