You become proficient in one saving throw of your choice.

Also, once per long rest, you may choose to maximize the roll of a shield recharge roll you make. You must choose to do this before making your shield recharge roll.

Finally, once on your turn when you would have to make a saving throw to end an ongoing effect at the end of your turn, you may choose to make the roll at the start of your turn instead.
